U.A.E. 42nd National Day
On the 3rd of December, Ruwais Private School joined the nation’s celebrations of the U.A.E.’s 42nd National Day. The celebrations started during the day on the infant campus where face-painting activities took place during the break. The main celebration started in the afternoon with the music choir singing the national anthem followed by cultural dances from Emirati folklore performed by a group of U.A.E. national students. After the performances all guests were invited to enjoy the different stalls and activities that were organized and offered by the prefects of the SABIS Student Life Organization®. Traditional food tasting, face painting, traditional henna tattoo, and U.A.E. trivia questions were among the different activities that took place during the event.
In addition, Ruwais Private School also participated in ADNOC’s celebrations of the U.A.E.’s 42nd National Day by joining the parade that took place in Ruwais Housing Complex on Thursday, December 5, 2013. The Ruwais Private School would like to congratulate the U.A.E. on the 42nd anniversary of the Emirates’ union and wishes the U.A.E. many more years of success and prosperity to come.
